There will be trouble… If the reboot of the 80′s classic SiFi crime fighter (Robocop) will be anything like the 2012 “Total Recall” reboot I’m not sure if fans of the original will enjoy it. As long as they dont change the story to much tho we should be in for a pleasant surprise. Looking at the concept art below of old Alex Murphy (Robocop) and the Kain Droid, it looks like they have kept to the original concept just jazzed it up to look more futuristic. It looks like the are sticking with the concept they original come up with, looking at the on set photo of Alex standing next to a white van, but it just looks like a man in some futuristic armor to me nothing cyborgy about him at all. (below) What does the sun says: The futuristic crime fighter is coming back for a reboot of the 1987 original and scenes were filmed for the remake this weekend in Toronto, Canada. And the new model is looking even tougher than the original with a tight black exoskeleton suit and sleek black visor. Despite the new RoboCop looking like a model of ruthless efficiency, the remake film has had some problems. It was due to come out next year but has now been pushed back by six months. But Swedish actor Joel Kinnaman, 32 — who starred in The Killing — seems confident the remake will be every bit as great as the Oscar-winning original. He recently told MTV: “The RoboCop reboot is going to be a lot more human, the original is one of my favourite movies. I love it. “Of course, original director Paul Verhoeven has that very special tone, and the reboot is not going to have that tone. It’s a re-imagination of it.’ The new film is directed by relative unknown Jose Padilha, whose Brazilian film Elite Squad was critically acclaimed when it was released in 2007 Read more: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/film/4603057/robocop-reboot-suit.html With the current cast line up looking quite impressive, with the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman and Michael Keaton it is a quite exciting time for fans of the original two films (Robocop 3 was poo). We will have to wait until 2014 till we see the new machine cop in all his glory, but will it deliver, to keep up to date with cast and story, visit IMDB –...

Subscribe to VISO Trailers Internet Movie Database Buzz Despite the presence of Colin Firth and Tom Hardy and the anticipation of director Tomas Alfredson’s follow up to Let the Right One In, all indications point to this being a tour de force for Gary Oldman — a long overdue proper starring role for one of our favorite actors. Working Title Films/Universal sorta botched their last attempt to modernize a classic BBC mini-series (remember State of Play?), but now that the studio has smartly moved the project over to Focus Features, we’re thinking this thriller has serious Oscar potential now that the Best Picture race isn’t so...

Director Christopher Nolan has taken “Batman: The Dark Knight Rises” to New York City, where filming over the weekend was caught on video by fans. The scenes included a big showdown between good and evil. The videos show a street fight between the Gotham City Police and a gang of cons led by the evil Bane, played by Tom Hardy. Christian Bale is reprising his role as Batman, and the film also stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake, a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon, played by Gary Oldman. Anne Hathaway plays Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, and Morgan Freeman returns as Lucius Fox. Over the summer, filming took place in Pittsburgh on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University. Live footage The school’s stately buildings were used as stand-ins for Gotham’s major municipal buildings. In October, shooting on the $250 million film shifted to Los Angeles. One of the latest videos, shot from the upper floor of a building, gives a good overhead view of the scale of the action, which took up a whole city block. Three Batmobiles in desert camouflage are also in the scene. Essentially, Bane’s unruly mob charges up one end of the street, while police, led by Batman, converge from the other end. Gunfire punctuates the battle as the men clash in hand-to-hand combat. Ironically, she scene was shot on Wall Street in the Financial District, which has been under siege recently by real life protesters. The film is scheduled for release in the United States and Canada on July 20, 2012. Check out the videos...
