My makeup WISH LIST for January 2012...
posted by beautifulyouworld
Hello Beautiful! If you at least slightly know me, then you’d know what role makeup plays in my life. I know many people, who being nervous / stressed / sad etc start eating a lot… in my case, I go makeup shopping! Since I consider this to be sometimes an addiction, I decided to start composing ”makeup wish lists” before I do purchases. This basically helps me get my thoughts together and thus control myself and not spend tons of money on something that I actually don’t need. This way or another here goes the list of makeup that I am considering purchasing. Obviously, I will not buy everything from this list (or who knows:) ), but I would appreciate your thoughts and suggestions too! 1. The Sparkler (The Body Shop), 22 EUR. This is basically an illuminator, which comes in a cute bottle that reminds me of the old perfume bottles. Needless to say, that the packaging influences me a lot too! Isn’t that TOO CUTE!? The Sparkler comes in two colors – pink and gold! The illuminator is dry in texture, but the quality seems to be really nice! I actually have tried them and like both of them! However, since I already have so many illuminators, I might start with just one for now… the pink one! ..obvious, right? 2. YSL Cream Blush in # 3 Silky Praline, 35 EUR I have always been very sceptical towards cream blushes… don’t ask me why (I truly don’t know), however I recently have tried YSL’s cream blush and fell in love with it! First of all, the product pigmentation is quite nice (not too little, not too much… just enough)! Second, the product feels amazing on your skin. Compared to other cream blushes, it feels more like mousse on...

Naked Truth: Why Women Shrug Off Lousy Sex...

Women don’t care about bad sex! A lot of men can breathe a sigh of relief with the results of this scientific study: women don’t care if you’re a bad lay. Seriously, this was the result of one study done by Kyle Stephenson, a doctoral candidate in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. According to his study, one-third to nearly one-half of women report having sexual function problems but only 10 percent are worried about it. Moreover, it’s only this 10 percent who experience both problems with desire and stress about sexual functions that are getting the bulk of research attention. (Which is proof positive that we shouldn’t believe everything we see and hear on TV.) In an interview with LiveScience, Stephenson said, “We’ve assumed for so long that for both men and women, these problems were always depressing.” However, survey data proved that notion wrong such that the question now becomes what happens “within the confines of a sexual relationship that makes these problems so distressing you want to seek treatment?” Stephenson said. Earlier studies with sexual problems indicate that these are common in both genders—but the reason behind them are different. Sheryl Kingsberg, a psychologist at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, said, “For women, the biggest problem is going to be desire.” On the other hand, men report problems with premature ejaculation (with younger men) and erectile dysfunction (with older men), which are easy to to diagnose and treat, if the volume of spam mail we get is any indication. But this is not as easy to assess with women, given that their subjective experiences of sex may not match their physical sexual response. This is explained by Leonard Derogatis, the director of the...
Amy Winehouse – Our Day Will Come Official Clip...

Official release of Amy’s new album “Lioness: Hidden Treasures”! It’s been announced that on the 5thDecember, “Lioness: Hidden Treasures“, the third album from Amy Winehouse, without question one of the most talented, original, and best loved artists to emerge in popular music for decades, will be released through Island Records. Following her tragic passing in July, some of the producers and musicians who worked closely with Amy Winehouse, among them Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, spent time listening over the many recordings that Amy had made, before, during, and after the release of “Frank” and “Back To Black”. It was said by all who worked with Amy that she never sang or played a song the same way twice. It quickly became apparent to Salaam and Mark that they had a collection of songs that deserved to be heard, a collection of songs that were a fitting testament to Amy the artist and, as importantly, Amy their friend. The 12 track collection features previously unreleased tracks, alternate versions of existing classics as well as a couple of brand new Amy compositions, and has been compiled by long-time musical partners Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson in close association with Amy’s family, management and record label Island Records. “Lioness : Hidden Treasures” proves a fitting tribute to the artist, the talent and the woman and serves as a reminder of Amy’s extraordinary powers as a songwriter, a singer and an interpreter of classics. Twilight “Breaking Dawn” true blood sport...

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart get busy on the big screeen in the long-awaited “Twilight” sequel “Breaking Dawn, Part 1″ this weekend, but movie critics are turning the film into a blood sport. The fourth installment in the “Twilight” series is getting ravaged by most major critics, even as studio Summit Entertainment predicts a blockbuster weekend. The studio estimates the film will book a three-day gross of $125 million. Other estimates put the figure as high as $148 million, which would be near a new record for “Twilight” openings. But out of 33 reviews tracked so far by movie Web site rottontomatoes, “Breaking Dawn” has scored a lowly 26 percent rating. And, that’s rotten. The notable exception to the torrent of bad reviews is none other than the snobby New York Times, which carries about as much influence as print publications can these days. Chief Critic Manola Dargis gave the movie a thumbs up, albiet a reluctant one. “[It's] the best of the movies about a girl, her vampire and their impossible, ridiculously appealing — yes, I surrendered — love story,” she wrote. “Little Bella is all grown up now, and while Edward is still more zomboid than juicily predatory, this time not everything else on screen is dead too,” she adds. She also gives high marks to director Bill Condon for breathing some life into the story. If only other critics were so kind. “What remains is the total conviction that the ludicrous scenes are dead serious and fiercely meaningful. The result is not quite a laugh a minute, but close,” wrote Rafer Guzman of Newsday. It goes downhill from there. “The sexless, bloodless, padded and plodding ‘Breaking Dawn, Part 1′ is the worst Twilight movie to date,” escoriated Peter Travers of Rolling...
