First Full Feature Resident Evil to hit Nintendo 3DS
This coming Friday (27th January 2012), holds the release of the first full feature Resident evil games for the Nintendo 3DS, you could call Resident Evil Mercenaries the official first game on the 3DS from the franchise but basically it was just made up from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. This new game is a brand new story that happens between the Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 games set on an artificial island in the Mediterranean Sea. The development started on the game even before they started to develop Resident Evil Mercenaries, so this may be an exciting addition the the franchise.

In a brand new mode for the series, Raid Mode will offer players a different kind of experience separate to the main campaign story in either solo or co-op play. Compete in a variety of missions to defeat enemies and level up your character and gain more powerful weapons. Earn points for the enemies you attack and select from a range of upgrades to improve your weapon’s performance.

It has been ten years since the Raccoon City incident and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity. Due to be by the President’s side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy, but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make his hardest ever decision. At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield arrives in China, itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack. With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world’s population is united by a common fear that there is no hope left.
